The morning greeted me with a painful fog The man on the scaffold just laughed along Got dumb, couldn’t feel nothing at all And look at this, my second wind quits 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me what will you die for? 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me will you live? Sorry I missed your call, couldn’t feel nothing at all Between the preachers and their stage Freedom deconstructed, I hesitate And the pause is a broken breath Newports inhalin’ my second wind quits again 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me what will you die for? 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me will you live? Some of us only learn after a mighty crash But after the burn I build up and go down again Those streets are filthy rich Homeless fill the alley as the money goes past… Those gods are just dead… Believers lashin’ in and out and it all goes red… 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me what will you die for? 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me will you live? Some of us never learn a thing From the whiskey bruises and secondhand anything Some of us will always be sobbing in gym Oh look at this mess, my second wind quits 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me what will you die for? 1, 2, 3, 4, tell me will I live?

about

Noah was one of my best friends and favorite people I have ever met, and today is their birthday. Included on this album are two recordings of a song that Noah wrote. The first track is the recording that Noah sent me, the second is my own cover. This was the last song Noah ever sent me, and the first by Noah that I ever learned how to play.

I hope this finds you all well.
